I created the website for OHTAKA ENZYME Co., Ltd., a company based in Hokkaido that produces and sells fermented foods and enzyme-based cosmetics. The goal was to showcase the brand’s traditional techniques and the natural beauty of Hokkaido, helping more people to connect with their unique brand story.
To give the site a modern and polished feel, I added smooth scroll animations and a large video on the homepage. This video shows the beautiful landscapes and rich ingredients of Hokkaido, helping visitors visually experience the charm of their enzyme fermentation products. Using this video effectively, I aimed to convey both the quality of the brand and its deep connection to nature.
The overall design follows minimalist principles, using a simple but memorable look. I avoided unnecessary decorations and focused on presenting essential information about their fermented foods and enzyme cosmetics in a clean, organized layout. I also carefully chose fonts and colors to help users naturally appreciate the quality of Hokkaido’s ingredients and the depth of fermentation techniques.
With attention to these details, the website not only builds trust in the brand but also offers a comfortable and enjoyable browsing experience. They were very pleased with how the site conveys their unique vision and the appeal of enzyme fermentation.
